Help/Managing Your Listing/Your Dashboard: A Guided Tour

Your Dashboard: A Guided Tour

A plain-English walkthrough of the CrewFinder manage dashboard — the tabs across the top, what each one does, and where to find everything.

After you claim your company, the manage dashboard is your home base on CrewFinder. It's where you edit your profile, post jobs, read messages from operators, track sales, and see how your listing is performing. This page walks you through every tab so you know exactly what you're looking at.

How to get there

Sign in to CrewFinder, open your company profile, and click the Manage button in the top-right. You can also go straight to crewfinder.info/manage/your-company-slug. If the Manage button isn't there, you haven't claimed the listing yet — see How to Claim Your Company Profile.

The tabs across the top

The dark-navy bar across the top of the dashboard splits the manage area into the jobs you'll do regularly:

  • Overview — your home screen. Shows how your profile is doing and what still needs finishing.
  • Profile — where you change everything operators see on your public page (name, description, services, locations, gallery, certifications).
  • Jobs — post openings and see who's looking at them.
  • Inquiries — messages operators sent you via the Get in Touch button on your profile. A little orange number appears on this tab when you have unread messages.
  • Sales — your free in-CrewFinder sales tool. Track jobs you're chasing, customers, quotes, and follow-ups. See What is the Sales Hub?.
  • Refer — your personal share link for inviting other companies to CrewFinder. Free Pro time when they upgrade.
  • Settings — sits on the right of the bar. Team, Sales settings (tax rates, deal stages, custom fields), Email connection, Billing, Notifications.

If your company is verified, an extra Promote tab appears. It holds your Verified badge, a QR code, a printable one-pager, and a website embed snippet. More on that below.

Overview tab

The Overview tab is a dashboard-of-the-dashboard. You don't edit anything here — you just get a quick read on where things stand. From top to bottom you'll see:

  • Profile completion checklist: a progress bar from 0–100% with a checklist of what's done and what's still missing. Items with orange highlights are the ones that most affect your search visibility. Click Add now → on any row to jump straight to the right place in the Profile tab.
  • Profile Performance card: the analytics section. Shows all-time profile views, how many times you appeared in search results this week, whether that's up or down vs. last week, and the top search queries that found you. If you're not appearing in searches yet, it shows the regional demand for your services so you know the opportunity is there.
  • Job Postings card: a quick count of your active postings, total job views, and total "Apply" clicks. The Manage Jobs → button sends you to the full Jobs tab.
  • Inquiries card: unread count, new messages in the last 7 days, and total messages in your inbox. The View Inbox → button opens the Inquiries tab.

Where to start

If the checklist shows you below 100%, do those items first. Operators are more likely to find and contact complete profiles. Adding a logo and a detailed description are usually the two biggest wins.

Profile tab

This is the big one. Everything a buyer sees on your public page is edited here. The page is split into sections — scroll down through all of them, or click a section name in the white pill-bar at the top to jump straight to it. The Preview Public Listing → button (top right) opens your live profile in a new tab so you can check how a change looks. The full URL is /manage/your-company/profile.

Here's what each section does, in the order they appear:

  • Company Information — name, description, phone, email, website, social links, year established, and logo. See How to Update Your Company Contact Info.
  • Locations — your head office and any other offices or service bases. Each location has an address, service radius, and an optional 24/7 dispatch flag. See Managing Your Locations and Service Areas.
  • Services — the trades and services you offer, plus a plain-English description of your capabilities. Mark one as primary. See Managing Services and Equipment.
  • Equipment — the major equipment types you own or operate, with quantities and notes.
  • Industries — the sectors you work in (oil & gas, heavy construction, mining, utilities, etc.). Pick one as primary. See What Sectors and Regions Can I List Under?.
  • Credentials — safety certifications (ISNetworld, COR, OSHA, Avetta, ComplyWorks, plus custom ones) on the left, and client references on the right. See How to Add Certifications and Safety Tickets.
  • Testimonials — quotes from people who've worked with you. See Testimonials, Clients, and Your Project Gallery.
  • Gallery — project photos with captions. Drag to reorder.

At the very bottom of the Profile tab there's a Danger Zone with a Delete Listing button. Only the primary owner can use this, and it has a 30-day recovery window. See Deleting Your Listing if you need to remove your listing.

Saves are per-section

Each section has its own Save button. Changes don't take effect until you hit Save in that specific section — you can edit one section, save, and move on to the next without losing anything.

Team and account settings have moved

Inviting colleagues, changing your sign-in email, billing, and the email-connection used to live on the Edit Profile tab. They're now under the Settings tab on the right of the nav (Team / Sales / Email / Billing / Notifications). See Managing account access and team members.

Jobs tab

This tab lists every job posting you've ever created, with a status badge (Active, Expired, Closed, or Inactive) and view/click counts for each one. The orange + New Job Posting button at the top right opens a blank form. Posting jobs is free and unlimited. See How to Post a Job for a full walkthrough.

Each posting also has an actions menu for editing, closing, reopening, duplicating, and deleting. Postings expire automatically after 60 days but can be reopened with one click.

Inquiries tab

When an operator clicks the Get in Touch button on your public profile and fills out the short form, their message lands here. The inbox has three sub-tabs: New (unread), Read (you've opened them), and Archived (filed away). Each message shows the sender's name, company, email, phone, and the message itself, with a one-click Reply button — plus a Convert to Deal button that turns the inquiry into a contact + deal in your Sales Hub. See Managing Your Inquiries Inbox for the full guide.

Sales tab

The free Sales Hub — your in-CrewFinder tool for tracking jobs you're chasing, customers, quotes, and follow-ups. Click Sales in the nav to open it. Full URL is /sales/your-company. See What is the Sales Hub?.

Settings tab

Settings sits on the far right of the nav and groups everything that isn't day-to-day work into five sub-tabs:

  • Team — invite colleagues, set roles (Owner / Admin / Member), and toggle Profile vs CRM access per teammate. See Managing account access and team members.
  • Sales — your CRM workspace settings: tax rates, deal stages, custom fields. See Customising your sales board, Tax rates, Custom fields.
  • Email — connect Gmail or Outlook for the Sales Hub email integration (Pro plan / trial only). See Connecting your Gmail or Outlook mailbox.
  • Billing — manage your Pro subscription, payment method, and download invoices. See Trial, grace period, and going Pro.
  • Notifications — the policy for who gets emailed when key things happen (e.g. when a customer accepts a quote).

Promote tab (verified companies only)

Once your listing is verified, a Promote tab appears. It gives you ready-made marketing assets that show off your Verified status: downloadable badge images, a QR code, a printable PDF one-pager of your profile, and a copy-paste HTML snippet you can embed on your website. See Promoting Your Verified Profile.

Not verified yet?

Claim your listing using an email that matches your company's website domain and you'll be verified instantly. Using a Gmail or other personal email address means you'll be verified manually in about one business day. See What Does the "Verified" Badge Mean?

The little ❓ help links

Throughout the dashboard you'll see small grey links with a question-mark icon — next to headings, inside sections, and on empty states. Click any of them to open the help article for that specific area in a new tab. They're there so you never have to leave what you're working on to get help.

Troubleshooting

  • Can't see the Manage button? You haven't claimed the listing, or you're signed in with a different email than the one that claimed it. See How to Claim Your Company Profile.
  • See a yellow "Verification Pending" banner? That's normal if you claimed with a personal email. It usually clears within one business day. You can still edit your profile while waiting.
  • Nothing shows up under Profile Performance? Analytics only start counting after you claim — older data isn't shown. Give it a few days of traffic.
  • Still stuck? Email support@crewfinder.info and we'll get back to you within one business day.
