Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice and Takedown Procedure

CrewFinder respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and any other applicable laws.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on CrewFinder infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent that includes the following information:

  1. Physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered by a single notification
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with information sufficient for us to locate the material (e.g., the URL)
  4. Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location where the material appeared before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, the Province of Alberta, Canada, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the site and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is repeat infringement.

Important Notice

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages.
