Setting up your email signature

When you send email from the Sales Hub, your saved signature is automatically appended to the bottom. Set it once and forget about it.

Per mailbox, not per user

If you have two mailboxes connected (say a personal sales address and a shared inbox), each one has its own signature. Useful if you want to sign one as “Mike Reid” and the other as “Acme Trucking Dispatch”.

Plain text vs HTML

The signature editor has two tabs:

• Plain text — what you type is what gets sent. Good for: a quick name + phone + title. No images, no links, no formatting. Always works on every email client.
• HTML — formatted signature with bold, links, images. Good for: a polished company-branded signature. Paste in HTML you exported from your existing email client, or write it from scratch.

A simple plain-text signature

If you don't have one already, here's a clean format that works:

Five lines. Name, role + company, phone, email, website. Keep it tight — long signatures get clipped by Gmail and people stop reading them.

Live preview

The composer shows your signature live underneath the body as you type. So you can see exactly what your customer will receive before you click Send.

Updating it later

Edit the signature in the same place. Saves apply immediately to every new email — emails you've already sent are unchanged.
