Adding companies to your Sales Hub

Add a customer company by hand or pull one in from the CrewFinder directory. Difference between Sales Hub companies and your public listing.

Companies in your Sales Hub are the businesses you sell to or work with — your customers, prospects, and the operators who hire you. Each one can have multiple contacts under it.

These are NOT the same as CrewFinder directory listings

Adding a company to your Sales Hub does not create a public CrewFinder listing for them. Your Sales Hub companies are private to you. The CrewFinder directory has its own 25,000+ company database that's separate.

Two ways to add a company

Add a brand-new company

1

Open Companies in your Sales Hub

Click the Companies tab in the sales nav.

2

Click + New company

Top right of the page.

3

Fill in the basics

Company name is required. Website, phone, address, and primary contact are all optional. The address picker auto-completes as you type — pick a real result so we can map the location later.

4

Save

The company appears in your list. Click in to add notes, attach contacts, or link a deal.

Pull a company in from the CrewFinder directory

If the customer you're adding is already a company on the CrewFinder directory, you can link to their listing instead of typing everything by hand.

1

Search the CrewFinder directory normally

From the homepage or any search result, find the company.

2

Open their public profile

On their profile, look for the small Add to Sales Hub link or button.

3

Confirm the workspace

If you have access to more than one Sales Hub, pick which one to add them to.

4

Done

We pre-populate the company name, website, phone, address, and any public emails from their listing. You can edit anything afterward; your edits stay private to your Sales Hub.

Linked companies stay linked

When you pull a company in from the directory, we keep the link to their public profile. If they ever update their phone or address on CrewFinder, you'll see a small note on the company in your Sales Hub flagging the change.

Adding contacts to a company

On any company's detail page, the right-rail Contacts card has a + button. You can add a brand-new contact directly attached to the company, or pick an existing contact and link them. One contact can be attached to one company at a time. See Adding contacts.

Searching, sorting, and bulk-editing the list

The Companies list works the same as the Contacts and Deals lists — see Searching, sorting, and bulk-editing your lists for the full guide.
