Having trouble signing in to CrewFinder? Most issues can be resolved quickly. Here are the most common problems and how to fix them.
Magic link email not arriving
If you chose to sign in with email (magic link) and haven't received it:
- Check your spam or junk folder; magic link emails sometimes get filtered
- Make sure you entered the correct email address; typos are the most common cause
- Wait a few minutes; delivery can occasionally be delayed
- Try requesting a new link; the previous one may have expired
- If you're on a corporate network, check with your IT team, as some email filters block sign-in links
Alternative
If the magic link isn't working, try signing in with Google or Microsoft instead. As long as you use the same email address, you'll access the same account.
"Account already linked" error
This error means you've previously signed in with a different provider. For example, if you first signed in with Google but are now trying Microsoft with the same email, you'll see this message.
How to fix this
Sign in using the same method you used the first time. If you originally signed in with Google, use Google again. If you used Microsoft, use Microsoft. The email address and provider must both match.
Not sure which provider you used originally? Try each one (Google, Microsoft, email). The one that works is the one linked to your account.
Google sign-in not working
If Google sign-in fails or shows an error:
- Make sure you're selecting the correct Google account (if you have multiple)
- Try clearing your browser cookies for crewfinder.info and accounts.google.com
- If your company uses Google Workspace, your admin may need to allow third-party sign-in apps
- Try a different browser or an incognito/private window
Microsoft sign-in not working
If Microsoft sign-in fails or shows an error:
- Make sure you're selecting the correct Microsoft account (personal vs. work/school)
- If you use Office 365 at work, your IT admin may need to consent to the CrewFinder app
- Try clearing your browser cookies for crewfinder.info and login.microsoftonline.com
- Try a different browser or an incognito/private window
Signed in but can't manage your listing
If you're signed in but don't see the option to manage your company listing, it's likely one of these situations:
- You haven't claimed the listing yet: visit your company's profile page and click "Claim this listing" to start the process
- Your claim is pending review: if your email domain didn't match the company website, your claim is being reviewed manually (typically 24β48 hours)
- Someone else has already claimed it: if another person at your company claimed the listing, ask them to add you as a team member from the dashboard
General browser troubleshooting
If none of the above apply, try these general fixes:
- Clear your browser cookies and cache for crewfinder.info
- Try an incognito or private browsing window
- Make sure your browser is up to date
- Disable browser extensions that might interfere (ad blockers, privacy tools)
- Try a different browser entirely
