Whibco, Inc. was founded in 1841 and is America’s first producer of sand for use in the metal casting industry. Today, Whibco produces a wide variety of industrial sands and fine construction aggregates. Industrial markets include foundries, grout, roof shingle manufacturing, recreational sands, fillers, and hydraulic fracturing sands to service natural gas exploration and mining. Construction markets include concrete sands, gravels, septic sand, fill, and numerous other grades used in road and infrastructure construction.
