Countertrace, LLC. has developed a patented high throughput technique for identifying and selectively containing and removing contaminants from complex fluids and gases to allow for focused reuse or disposal. They created a unique polymer macroparticle that attracts and contains contaminants within complex fluids, including carbon capture from air. This technology is cost-effective and scalable, with the first application geared towards water treatment for hydraulic fracturing operations.
